1. Your Content and Agreement
Any order for services placed on our website and verified by us is referred to as a booking. Once you have paid in full and obtained a confirmation email from the right travel agent, your booking is complete. Travelers or users ensure that all payments, documents, and booking responsibilities are finished by the deadline. Every service and product on the website is conditional upon availability.
For third-party suppliers such as hotels, rental car agencies, airlines, and vacation package providers, Travelshook serves as an agent. The supplier and you, not Travelshook, enter into a contract when you make a reservation. Direct interaction with the supplier is also used for specific products such as hotels and flights that are booked for different times.
2. Travel Supplier
Travelshook serves as an agent for "Travel Suppliers," which are third-party providers such as hotels, airlines, rental car rentals, and insurance organisations. Any questions about the product should be sent to the Travel Supplier, as they are the ones with whom you have a direct contract. The product's information section or the email confirmation contains the supplier's details. Travelshook provides no promises regarding the services provided by the travel supplier and is not responsible for them.
Travel supplier conditions: The terms and conditions of the travel supplier also apply when you make a booking using our website. These could cover guidelines for refunds, modifications, cancellations, and payments. Please carefully read the terms of each product and respect the requirements of the travel supplier, including flight confirmations and check-in hours.
3. Flight Booking Terms & Conditions
There are terms related to airfare. Tickets with economy limits are typically non-refundable and non-changeable. Flights must be booked in the exact order because missing the first leg might void the remaining portion of the ticket. It is recommended to check in 90 minutes before domestic flights and 2 hours before international flights. Some airlines may cancel the booking if you don't confirm your return trip 72 hours in advance. Additionally, airlines may alter their schedules or cancel bookings; however, Travelshook will help whenever it can. Indirect routes or layovers may be included in special pricing, and boarding or refuelling stops may still be included on direct flights. Airlines are in charge of allocating seats, and requests are not always fulfilled.
- →During business hours, notify us of any changes to names, dates, etc., within 24 hours of receiving the email. Client errors or delayed responses may incur additional costs. To prevent problems, make sure payments are made on schedule. Confirm deadlines with your agent to avoid any inconvenience. Client email responses are not considered agreements; calls are used to verify agreements at the time of flight booking.
- →Nonrefundable deposits only guarantee a seat; they do not guarantee a ticket. Fuel or other charges may raise prices until full payment is received. The customer is responsible for paying any difference in fare.
- →Seats are secured with deposits. However, prices will vary until full payment or tickets are received.
4. Hotel Recommendations
Hotel bookings are dependent on availability. If the hotel you quoted is unavailable, a comparable hotel will be offered. Deposits are not refundable. However, a partial refund might be applicable if the Saudi vendor authorises it. Please be aware that your payment is non-refundable if you decide to cancel your Umrah, Hajj, or vacation package.
5. E-Tickets
When making your reservation, you can choose between an e-ticket and a paper ticket. Please be aware that every airline has different e-ticket policies.
- →If these rules are not followed, Travelshook is not responsible. Before booking your trip, we strongly advise reviewing your airline's e-ticket policies.
- →Unless otherwise specified, all tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and subject to terms and conditions.
- →Travelers must ensure their names and itinerary match those on their passports. After tickets are distributed, they may not be able to be changed, and new ones might have to be purchased.
6. Passport, Visa & Health Recommendation
- →Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your stay.
- →You are responsible for arranging the transfer and determining whether a transit visa is necessary if your flight requires a change between two airports.
- →Code-share flights that involve terminal transfer may require transit visas. Please confirm the requirements with your airline and embassy.
- →Follow the most recent vaccination recommendations for your travel and ensure you take the appropriate health measures.
- →Travelshook is not liable for price adjustments if visa processing takes longer than expected. Travelshook does not issue visas; the Saudi Embassy does. The cost of a visa may go up between application and booking — any additional fees will have to be paid.
- →Travelshook will only cover hotel and flight cancellations if a visa is rejected. Refunds are not always guaranteed and will be handled per terms and conditions.
- →Travelshook guarantees that applications for Umrah visas are submitted on time, but is not liable for delays or problems at the embassy. Travelshook offers advice but cannot ensure that a visa will be granted.
Important: The visa application for the travel document holder will be submitted directly through the Saudi authorities. In the event of a visa refusal or any complications arising during processing, the company shall bear no responsibility for any losses, delays, or consequences incurred. The visa issuance process is solely under the discretion of the relevant embassy and is beyond the company's control.
- →You are responsible for ensuring that your travel documents — passport, visa, e-ticket, travel insurance, etc. — are accurate and valid.
- →Passengers must organise all travel documentation, including visas, for transit and destination countries. Tickets are not refundable if the Saudi Ministry of Hajj rejects the visa.
7. Insurance / Travel Insurance
Travelshook strongly recommends that clients purchase travel insurance. Please carefully read the terms to ensure that the insurance meets your needs and covers unforeseen circumstances such as lost luggage, medical emergencies, or personal liability claims.
8. Force Majeure
Travelshook is not responsible for booking problems caused by situations beyond our control. Events that impact confirmed reservations include wars, hijackings, weather-related accidents, political unrest, and government restrictions.
Keep up with COVID-19 developments, procedures, and potential effects on your flights. If you miss your flight because of COVID-19 regulations enforced by authorities, the company will not be held responsible.
9. Your Financial Protection
An ATOL Certificate is sent to you when you reserve a flight or vacation with us that is ATOL protected. This document explains what is financially protected, where to find further information, and who to call in the event of an emergency. The services will be provided by us or the suppliers specified on the certificate, or a suitable substitute will be offered. Another ATOL holder may step in to supply the services at no additional expense if neither we nor the supplier can deliver because of insolvency. You can file a claim through your credit card issuer, if appropriate, or under the ATOL scheme if there is no other option. You consent to assign any claims related to the non-provision of services to the Air Travel Trust if they pay you.
10. General Information
- →There is no return for deposits made for airline reservations. If you decide to cancel your trip, Travelshook is not liable for refunds.
- →Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months before applying for Hajj or Umrah. Your passport will be sent to the Saudi Embassy for a visa; however, the Saudi Embassy alone has the authority to approve it. If a visa is rejected, Travelshook is not liable.
- →You will be responsible for paying any difference in the visa cost if it changes between booking and issue. If a visa is rejected, we can only handle hotel and flight cancellations per the terms and restrictions — complete payment refunds are not guaranteed.
- →The availability of hotels is subject to change, and you might be offered comparable alternatives. Packages for Hajj and Umrah require non-refundable deposits. You won't get the funds back if you have to cancel your vacation.
- →Ensure you take the outgoing flight because failing to do so could render the remaining portion of your ticket void. For international flights, arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure.
- →Travelshook will help with returning tickets or cancellations of hotels if airlines change their schedules or cancel reservations, but there may be additional fees. Check the status of your flight online or with your agent a minimum of seven days before departure.
- →Hotel check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out is 12:00 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability.
- →Any modifications to your package may result in extra fees and need to be handled with your agent. If payment arrangements are not met, your package may be cancelled without refund.
- →Hotel ratings are only suggestions and could change depending on the country or region. Signing the booking confirmation signifies your acceptance of Travelshook's policies.
11. Other Generally Applicable Terms
Except in cases where it is the fault of our agents, travel providers, or themselves, Travelshook is not liable for problems with your reservation, death, or injury. The regulations of applicable international agreements restrict our liability for overseas travel by rail, sea, or air.
Travelshook's liability for a direct loss shall be restricted to the full amount of the reserved service or product (except death or injury, where there are no limits). Any indirect or consequential losses from using our website or the travel services you book are not our responsibility.
12. Customer Behaviour Terms
You must behave responsibly and avoid any actions that could offend, endanger, or harm others or their property (such as drinking or incidents of rage). Our travel partners (such as airline employees) or we can immediately cancel your reservation if your behaviour is insulting, unsuitable, or harmful.
In these situations, neither we nor our travel partners will be liable for payments, damages, or any expenses you incur. You will also be responsible for paying back any costs we incur due to your actions.
13. Changes
A £25 modification fee plus any airline or supplier fees will be required if you wish to change your reservation (apart from adding extra passengers). Before the issuing or renewal of tickets, additional taxes will be shared. Once the ticket has been issued, most airlines do not permit changes.
- →For any last-minute changes, travellers must confirm their reservations with the travel agency 72 hours before departure.
14. Cancellation
Cancellation Before Ticket Issuance
The person who made the reservation must notify us if you or any other guests need to cancel before tickets are provided. They are responsible for any cancellation fees.
Cancellation After Ticket Issuance
If you decide to cancel after issuing your tickets, you risk losing all your money. Low-cost or charter flights always include a 100% cancellation fee regardless of when the ticket is issued. Tickets and coupons expire immediately after the departure date (for one-way tickets) or return date (for round-trip tickets). Modifying, refunding, or changing expired tickets or vouchers is not possible.
Booking Terms
After receiving full payment, Travelshook or the appropriate travel agent will send a confirmation email confirming the reservation. All services must be available. Travelshook represents airlines, lodging facilities, vehicle rental companies, and other vendors. You enter into a deal with the supplier directly, not Travelshook.
Important Notes
- →Typically, economy-restricted tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable.
- →You must take flights in the sequence specified in your trip plan. If you miss the first flight, the remainder of your ticket may be cancelled. Check in for international flights at least two hours before departure and domestic flights at least 90 minutes before departure. Certain carriers require return flight reconfirmation 72 hours before departure. Failure to do so risks cancellation.
- →Airlines may cancel reservations or alter their timetables. Travelshook will help you but is not liable for such changes.
- →There is absolutely no refund for deposits. Passengers must pay the entire amount owed by the deadline. If they don't, the reservation will be cancelled and the deposit will be lost. Please let us know if you have made any payments.
- →Even in the event of a refund, the 3% surcharge associated with credit card payments is non-refundable.
Seat and Flight Details
- →Even if a seat is reserved in advance, it is not guaranteed. To increase your chances, check in early.
- →Travelshook does not cover transfer fees between airports or terminals.
Timing and Routes
- →Only outbound flights are subject to the approximate flight time based on the 24-hour clock.
Note: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances including lost luggage, medical emergencies, and personal liability claims.
